Evan Beatrice Maling - Of Blessed Memory
A very accomplished individual, Evan Beatrice Maling excelled in many areas in her short life. Growing up, Evan was accepted to the Latin School of Chicago, a selective elementary, middle school and high school in Chicago. She pursued her studies at the University of Illinois, majoring in accounting.
Evan – a true pioneer - established the first of its kind Business Sorority for women at the University of Illinois. Upon completing her education, Evan entered the business world where she held an executive position at Goldberg’s Fashion Forum.
Most importantly, Evan was an extremely giving person. It is truly fitting that her life is being commemorated by the Hinda Institute, an organization that is dedicated to caring for people throughout the State of Illinois.
