Marna Goldwin is the Chief Executive Officer of The Ark, a vibrant hub of vital human services, that lifts and strengthens the Jewish community in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Serving 4,000 Jews each year facing financial, medical, employment, and emotional challenges,
The Ark’s case managers, professionals, and volunteers provide compassionate care and free life-changing services.
In this, The Ark’s 51st year since its founding, Marna leads the organization during an exciting period of transformational change. Alongside staff, volunteers, leadership, and supporters, a new state-of-the-art facility with expanded programming will open in late 2023 to serve clients with the dignity that they deserve.
Prior to joining The Ark, Marna served as Chief Advancement Officer for Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School, an independent Jewish day school in Chicago. A native of Chicago, Marna received her Bachelor’s degree in History and Jewish Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, her MBA in Management and Marketing from Northwestern University and a Masters in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Institute.
She has been an active member of Chicago’s Jewish community holding leadership positions in JUF’s Young Leadership Division and Young Women’s City Council.
She lives in Lakeview with her husband and two daughters.
