Bill Cherny, JD

 

Bill Cherny, was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1997 and the Wisconsin State Bar in 1998.

He was also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, including the Bankruptcy Court.

From 2002-2004 he was an Assistant Public Defender in the Kane County Public Defender’s Office.

He has been in private practice since 2005. He was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2019. He completed his undergraduate education at The Ohio State University (B.S. 1977) and received an MBA from Illinois Benedictine University (1991).  Completed his legal education at John Marshall Law School (J.D. 1997).

He is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
