Deondre’ Rutues brings energy, curiosity, and deep integrity to his work. A Ph.D. candidate with a passion for creating sustainable, transformative environments, he approaches every challenge with a blend of warmth, discipline, and a natural instinct to ask the questions that matter.
Deondre’s professional background spans Fortune 500 companies—including Nestlé, Coca‑Cola, and UPS—as well as major public institutions such as the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and Chicago Public Schools. This breadth of experience allows him to connect with people from all walks of life and navigate complex systems with confidence.
A committed community leader, Deondre’ has served the Austin neighborhood through the Northwest Austin Council, run as an Aldermanic candidate for the 37th Ward, and advocated for social justice as an organizer with Black Workers Matter and West Side Rising.
He holds both an MBA and a Master of Arts in Industrial‑Organizational Psychology, giving him a rare combination of theoretical insight and practical skill.Most recently, he led community engagement efforts across Chicago Police Districts 11, 15, and 25 as part of NYU’s Policing Project.
