Abigail Rabinowitz - Program Coordinator
Abigail Rabinowitz is the Development and Program Coordinator at the Hinda Institute, where she initiated and developed both the Hinda Reentry Education Program and the Casework and Counseling Program. These programs have grown exponentially, profoundly impacting families and their loved ones in our community affected by the criminal justice system.
Prior to joining the Hinda Institute, Abigail managed training and coordinated multidisciplinary teams for over ten years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. She received multiple awards for her work and was widely recognized as a strategic project manager who empowered people while creating high-quality, innovative training programs and curricula.
A multifaceted and creative learning specialist, Abigail has over 20 years of experience in enforcement and diversity training within the Canadian federal government. She has also developed and led special education programs, facilitated instruction in schools, and created numerous training curricula.
Abigail holds a degree in Nonprofit Project Management and has worked in Employment Equity within the Canadian government as well as in multiple nonprofit organizations in the Jewish community. She has coordinated and implemented highly successful programs and earned awards for her contributions. Her experience includes analyzing population data, conducting government-wide censuses, evaluating national programs, coordinating extensive needs analyses, and leading focus groups of over 1,000 participants.
