Mindy Kalchman - PhD
Mindy Kalchman is a Professor Emerita in the College of Education at DePaul University, where she taught in the Department of Teacher Education, Kinesiology, and Educational Studies.
Her work focuses on teaching and learning in elementary education, with particular emphasis on mathematics education, instructional practice, and teacher development.
Dr. Kalchman earned her PhD and MA from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto and holds a BA from the University of British Columbia.
Throughout her career, she has taught undergraduate, graduate, and honors-level courses, and her research has explored how educators make instructional decisions and apply learning standards in classroom practice.
