Stacey has over two decades of involvement as an attorney in land use and municipal matters.
In her practice, Stacey offers expertise and counsel regarding zoning procedure and zoning ordinance interpretation in the City of Chicago and a number of other Chicago area municipalities.
She has worked to secure approval for Chicago projects ranging from large neighborhood mixed-use projects and transit-oriented development to home additions and small residential infill.
Representative suburban projects include a senior assisted living and memory care facility, a power generating plant, and a controversial expansion of a suburban community center.
She has served as one of the village attorneys for the Village of Deer Park, with responsibilities ranging from Special Service Area financing to the drafting of ordinances, and was instrumental in the development of Deer Park Town Center.
Stacey has worked to obtain planned developments, special use permits and other zoning relief for infill residential development, adaptive re-use, and large condominium projects facing neighborhood opposition.
